Missing Melfort man found deceased

A man missing from Melfort since January has been found deceased

RCMP announced Monday that the body of Quade Ballantyne, 30, had been found just outside of Melfort this past Friday.

Officers from Melfort were conducting patrols and have now completed a joint investigation with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.

Pending the final results of the autopsy and toxicology reports, RCMP said that foul play is not suspected in Ballantyne’s death.
