Sharks’ six swimmers pile up points at ManSask Championships

The Prince Albert Sharks crushed it at the ManSask Championships this past weekend in Winnipeg, with their six competitors teaming up to put up 228 combined points.

Ali D. won a pair of silver medals finishing runner up in the 100-metre breaststroke and the 200-metre individual medley. Ali’s breaststroke time also met the Western Para-Swimming 100-metre breaststroke time, and qualifies her for the Western Canadian Championships and the 2022 Speedo Western Championships in Edmonton April 21–24.

Myla M. won a bronze medal in the 1,500-metre freestyle and achieved the ‘AA’ time standard in six events.

Clara G. finished with four AA times, Ava H. got three AA times, Sophie B. reached the finals of the 100-metre breaststroke, 200-metre breaststroke, and 200-metre individual medley.
