P.A.’s Hudak finishes in 8th in first event in Beijing

Prince Albert’s Brittany Hudak finished in eighth place in her first event of the 2022 Paralympic Games in Beijing.

Hudak got her top-10 finish in the Women’s Para Biathlon Sprint, finishing 49.1 seconds behind gold medalist Yujie Guo of China, the first Chinese Paralympian to finish with a gold medal in an individual event.

Hudak was one of three Canadians participating in the race, as she finished just behind Emily Young (seventh) and ahead of Natalie Wilkie (15th).
