For over 36 years, Hillside Physical Health and Fitness has treated, educated, supported, and empowered their clients to continue, or even to begin, moving on with an active and healthy lifestyle. Four fully trained physiotherapists, plus two Kinesiologists, specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of all types of injuries.

Proven treatment techniques help speed healing and reduce pain including laser therapy, ultrasound, hands-on tissue and joint mobilization and massage as well as dry needling and acupuncture. Hillside staff are also trained in brace fitting to support a joint or correct a deformity. They know how important staying in motion is and they make that a top priority when working with your individual needs. Exercise prescription is Hillside’s specialty with helpful movements you can do at home or in the gym. All are specifically designed to stretch, strengthen, and restore function to your body helping to continue and expedite your treatment outside of the clinic setting. In fact, their training is so thorough, elite sports teams come to Hillside to improve their game. Qualified Kinesiologists assist hockey teams including the Prince Albert U18 AAA Northern Bears and U13 AA Greyhounds. Go Team Hillside!

Kinesiologists Scott Ward and BOB Award winner Christina Vis also offer athletes small group sports performance training to help improve ice, field, and court performance. The fitness centre offers gym memberships in a casual, non-competitive atmosphere that makes working out comfortable for all ages and fitness levels.
