Two snowmobilers found dead near Larson Lake

Two men who did not return after venturing out on their snowmobiles have been found dead.

Wollaston Lake RCMP said the two left the community on Monday to get wood in the Larson Lake area and had not returned.

Local volunteers, RCMP, and the Canadian Rangers began searching for the men.

They were found deceased at Larson Lake later that day.

After an initial investigation, RCMP found the snowmobile they were driving entered open water.
