Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation launch campaign

Nov 15, 2021 | 5:41 PM

With the Christmas holidays right around the corner, the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation’s eighth annual Making Spirits Bright Campaign began today.

According to a media release, the campaign offers the Little Book of Big Gift Ideas, a catalogue that shows vital equipment, programs and resources at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital that people can donate to.

“We are excited to embark on this new partnership between our wealth management company, Thrive Wealth Management and the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation,” said Nicole Westerlund, vice president of Member and Community Engagement.

“The foundation has achieved extraordinary success in bringing the Children’s’ Hospital to life in our province, and to sustain such an important piece in our health-care system, continued support is needed. By matching donations throughout the giving season, we hope we will inspire others to give a gift that truly improves the lives of children and their families in our community.”

With Thrive Wealth Management matching donations up to $50,000 they’re encouraging the public to fulfill year end giving goals.

“The Making Spirits Bright Holiday Giving catalogue is full of thoughtful gift ideas for the ones you love, while at the same time making a meaningful difference year-round for many Saskatchewan kids and families needing hospital care,” said Brynn Boback-Lane, president and CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Every dollar makes a difference, as you help make this giving season a time for true celebration. Our foundation is incredibly grateful for every special gift of hope and the new partnership with Thrive Wealth Management.”
