Crusaders make it to consolation final in 5A Provincials they hosted

The Carlton Crusaders senior girls soccer team fell in the consolation finals of the 5A Girls Soccer Provincials they hosted this weekend.

They fell 3-1 to Regina Miller in the finals. The Crusaders defeated Regina Campbell in penalty kicks (4-2) to break a 1-1 draw, after falling 2-1 to Swift Current to open the tournament.

Saskatoon Holy Cross won the tournament, beating St. Joes in penalties to win 2-1. Warman defeated Swift Current 2-1 in the bronze medal game.
