Mont Nebo resident quarter-million dollars richer

Aug 12, 2021 | 12:20 PM

Kevin Johnstone is the most recent Lotto Max winner in the province after purchasing a winning ticket at Leask Cafeteria.

The Mont Nebo resident was shocked when he matched all six numbers on the MaxMillions draw and won $250,000.

“I think I was actually feeling more disbelief than anything else – I couldn’t believe it,” he said.

Johnstone’s wife also didn’t believe they had won and it took some convincing.

“She didn’t believe me at all!” he chuckled. “She had me doubting myself!”

Johnston will be putting his winnings towards paying some bills.

Johnstone split his MAXMILLION with three other tickets sold across Canada.

Mont Nebo is 77 km west of Prince Albert.
