Multiple arrests following gun incident at Ile a La Crosse

Saskatchewan RCMP are confirming three people were arrested in connection to a tense situation Thursday in Ile a La Crosse.

Just after 1 p.m., police received a complaint a person in the community had been threatened by a male with a firearm.

Later that evening, Ile a la Crosse RCMP, with the assistance of the Saskatchewan RCMP Emergency Response Team, arrested three people at a residence on Lajeunnesse Ave.

A convoy of police vehicles was observed heading northwest of Prince Albert.

RCMP say the investigation is active and charges are pending.
