SHA issues advisory after person infected with COVID-19 attended business in Leask

Jul 29, 2020 | 3:30 PM

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is alerting the public to a possible COVID-19 exposure at a business in Leask.

The advisory comes after an individual recently tested positive for the virus. He or she was likely infectious while attending businesses in the community.

If you attended the Canada Post Office in Leask between July 20 and 24, you should be self-monitoring for symptoms for 14 days after your visit or seek a test referral from 811.

The province begins a contact tracing investigation in cases where anyone tests positive for the virus. All who may be linked to a positive case are provided with information on testing and self-isolation. If officials are uncertain they have identified all the close contacts of the infected person, they take action to inform the community about locations individuals attended while they were symptomatic.
