Paddock named WHL’s Eli Wilson Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Max Paddock has been named the Western Hockey League (WHL) Eli Wilson Goaltending Goaltender of the Week.
According to a media release, he was named for the week ending on Feb.16 and this is the third time this season and second time in three weeks he has received the honour.
Since acquired by the Raiders, in 12 games he has a record of 8-2-0-2, a .944 save percentage, 1.48 goals against average and two shutouts.
This week the 167-pound goalie standing at six feet two inches tall from Brandon, Man. finished with a 2-0-0-0 record. During that time, he posted a 0.50 GAA and stopped 39 of 40 shots faced. He also recorded a shutout. He and the Raiders defeated the Swift Current Broncos in a shutout and the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-1 the following night.
