TAMING THE TIGER provides children (ages 6-12) and their parents with a safe, supportive environment in which to learn how to deal with anger. This is a FREE program.
Participants will learn:
– The fundamentals of anger.
– How to react physically and emotionally when angry, and strategies to work through anger in healthy ways.
– The parenting component provides parents with effective techniques to deal with aggressive behavior.
This program uses a variety of activities which are designed to improve self-esteem, communication skills and problem solving and to learn anger management by using games, stories, crafts and sharing time.
