Community group looks to reach more people
A longtime community organization is undergoing a change.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters Prince Albert has debuted their new logo, which is part of a nation wide rebrand for the organization across Canada. Natasha Thomson, development coordinator for the group in P.A. said the old logo had been in use for quite a while and change was needed.
“We’re really excited about the bright colours and the new imagery and also it aligns a little more with Big Brother Big Sisters of America, they recently rebranded as well,” she said.
Speaking locally, Thomson said she hopes the new logo will help when it comes to bringing in more people to volunteer with the organization. She explained the new imaging they are using symbolizes “the power of three” in bringing together the organization, the parent and the volunteer to help the youth.
