Climbing the Rock

Climbing the Rock  is a program for teenagers to learn about oversoming Interpersonal violence.

TIME:                        3:30 – 5:00 P.M.

Climbing the Rock is an 8 week program (one session a week) for teens and pre-teens. The program uses behavioral and skills oriented strategies to help young people overcome the personal struggles they encounter after being exposed to any form of interpersonal violence.

The program teaches participants to:
– improve self-esteem
– make positive life choices 
– avoid unhealthy situations
– reduce risk factors that may lead to further exposure to violence.
