Local business women donate to the SPCA

The Prince Albert SPCA accepted another community donation Monday, this time from the Prairie Women’s Networkers. 

According to member Chrissy Halliday, the group of 40 women meets on the fourth Monday of every month to discuss business and the community.

At each meeting they have a 50/50 draw. They decide during the first meeting of every year what charity or organization the proceeds will go to and for the 2014-15 year, the group unanimously voted to donate to the SPCA.

In total, they raised $249.50.
