Alcohol may be factor in ATV rollover death

Sep 14, 2015 | 6:28 AM

Police believe alcohol was a factor after a man died when his ATV rolled near Manor, Sask.

Carlyle RCMP said a small group of people were riding ATVs on a trail near the town when it looks like the 41-year-old driver rolled his vehicle.

The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name will not be released.

The latest rollover brings this year’s total ATV-related deaths to six and the second in a week. On Sept. 5, a 14-year-old girl was killed in another ATV rollover on a public trail in the Northern Provincial Forest northwest of Hudson Bay.
