Diabetes walk raises $9,000

The annual Walk for Diabetes was a huge success in Prince Albert on Sunday.
Over $9,000 was raised for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Mackenize Aarrestad, 16, was this year’s youth ambassador. She was diagnosed with diabetes when she was eight years old.
“I just know when the doctor told me, I was just like what is this thing, it’s going to change my life so much,” said Aarrestad.
