The WHL league average of sending players to NHL games is 5.7. The Kelowna Rockets lead the league in that category with 11, including former Raiders Leon Draisaitl and Josh Morrissey.  On the other side of the scale, the Moose Jaw Warriors are only sending Brayden Point to the Tampa Bay Lightning’s camp.

The Raiders play their first preseason home game on Friday against the Saskatoon Blades. Admission is free for the matchup.

Then, the Raiders will travel down to Warman for a rematch against the Blades on Saturday.

Through two preseason games, 18-year-old defenceman Brennan Riddle leads the team in scoring with three points through two games, and a +4 rating. Parker Kelly, who hopes to make the team as a 16-year-old, has a goal and an assist. Spencer Moe also had a goal and an assist before the 15-year-old was reassigned after the Regina tournament.
