Pine Needle Bike Fest packs Little Red
The annual Pine Needle Mountain Bike Festival at Little Red River Park ran with about a few hundred in attendance on Sunday morning and into the afternoon.
One organizer said there were more than 100 people registered in the racing events this year, which included single ride, two person and four person over a 7.8 kilometre track.
And a new event this year for the younger participants was a Lumber Jack Dash, which was an obstacle course set up on the side of a hill for children aged three to five, six to nine and 10-13.
There was also a bike give away from Fresh Air Experience for the kids.
