An all-too-familiar warning from Battlefords RCMP.
A man is dead and police believe counterfeit OxyContin could be responsible.
Officers were sent to a home Sunday evening after a report of the man’s sudden death.
While they stressed that they are still trying to determine an exact cause of death, a media release issued Monday afternoon highlighted the possibility that fake OxyContin could have infiltrated the community.
