Fatal accident claims life; sends 2nd person to hospital

One person has died and another has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after two vehicles collided on Tuesday night 10 kilometres north of Love, Sask.

A Dodge car had been travelling northbound when it hit a Pontiac car travelling southbound head on. The impact resulted in one of the vehicles becoming engulfed in flames.

 The driver of the Dodge  was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered serious injuries and was first taken to Nipawin Hospital but was later transferred to Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert.
