Young bowlers finish third at nationals

Prince Albert bowlers made a strong showing at the National Youth Bowling Championships in Ontario.

The team comprised of Marissa Williams, Alexis Smytaniuk, Kaydence Pellerin and Alyssa Andersen came in third place in the bantam girls’ five pin team event. 

Coming in first was Southern Ontario with Quebec taking home the silver.

Amy Pilon, 20, came in seventh in the senior girls division. Pilon had an average score of about 230 over 26 games.
