The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation’s (STF) professional ethics committee has found former Prince Albert teacher Bonnie McLachlan guilty of professional misconduct.
In late March, the STF asked the professional ethics committee to look into McLachlan’s professional conduct.
In 2013, McLachlan was sentenced to an 18-month conditional sentence and 12 months’ probation for a count of sexual misconduct. She had a sexual relationship with a student at Queen Mary Community School where she taught in the early 1990s.
A penalty hearing has been set for May 7 in Saskatoon.
