Fire department sheds light on busy time of year
The Prince Albert Fire Department (PAFD) was kept busy over the weekend, responding to 22 calls.
In those calls crews responded to 13 grass fires and six dumpster fires.
Deputy Fire Chief Corey Rodgers said this is normal for this time of year.
“Every year it usually either starts in late April or early May and it goes for about a month that our grass fires start picking up,” he said Monday.
