Man, 66, appears in Saskatoon court for luring child charge

A 66-year-old man has been arrested and charged with luring a child.

Gregory Howard Prescott made his first court appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Monday. He was remanded until Wednesday for a show cause hearing.

Investigators with the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit noticed an inappropriate ad posted by Prescott which led police to investigate his activities and intentions.

He was arrested by the ICE Unit and Saskatoon police without incident.
