Family and Schools Together Program Needs Volunteers

The Families & Schools Together program will be running at Riverside School this April, and we need your help!

Families & Schools Together is a family engagement program aimed at promoting positive relationships between parents, their children, the school, and the broader community. This activity-based family program is run by school staff, community partners from various human service sectors (mental health, policing, addictions, etc.), as well as parents who have been involved as participants of the program in the past.
The program runs Tuesday’s after school for eight weeks, beginning on Tuesday April 14 from 5:30pm until 8:00pm. A meal is prepared in advance of each F&ST session, with each family having the opportunity to help cook for the group.

The program depends on volunteers like you to run smoothly. Volunteers are needed each week for the following:
 Helping out with meal prep and clean-up
 Helping to serve food
 Childcare (ages 5 and under)
 Childcare (ages 6 and up)
 Supervision of family activities
