April is Dental Health Month

Mar 31, 2015 | 1:18 PM

This year, the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region Dental Health Promotions Program is participating in Canada’s Tooth Fairy Smile Drive. Toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss are being collected with all donations received to be delivered to the local YWCA in Prince Albert. These dental resources will greatly benefit the oral health of children, youth and women who receive services delivered through the YWCA.

For more information about how your department or staff can  participate or donate, go to http://www.ncohf.org/canadas-toothfairy/smile-drive

Also- throughout the month of April, any child attending a clinic for immunizations throughout the health region will be entered in a draw to win a Dental Health Gift Basket.
