Early Friday morning, the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team seized 61.3 grams of methamphetamine.

Police said officers initiated a traffic stop in the city.  That resulted in the discovery of the methamphetamine, which carries a street value of $12,000.

The driver of the vehicle, a 45-year-old man from Buffalo Narrows, was arrested and taken into custody without incident.

He is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
