Michelle Englot will represent Saskatchewan at Scotties Tournament of Hearts

Michelle Englot of the Tartan Curling Club in Regina beat Stefanie Lawton of Saskatoon's Granite Curling Club 9-7 in the Provincial Scotties Tournament of Hearts final in Humboldt on Sunday.

Englot took a 6-3 lead, by putting three points on the board in the fifth end, when Lawton missed a double with her final stone.

The miss left Englot with a draw for three points. Englot also stole one point in the eighth end for the win.

Englot's team of Lana Vey, Roberta Materi and Sarah Slywka will now represent Saskatchewan at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts February 18th to 26th in Red Deer.
