Charges laid following crime spree in Melfort

Two people from Manitoba are facing charges in connection to a series of vandalisms and fires in Melfort.
On June 1, RCMP responded to three separate fires that damaged three vehicles, including a camper trailer, two cars and the exterior of one residence. A number of thefts from vehicles and damages to vehicles occurred in the following days.
Cody Nowosad, 23, from Winnipeg has been arrested and appeared in court Tuesday. He is back in court in Tisdale on Friday for a bail hearing.
He faces 13 charges, including four counts of arson to property, and two counts of break and enter.
