Greening up the grid, priority for Green candidate
Myk Brazier is trying to get Prince Albert a little bit greener.
“What I want to focus on and what the Green Party is focusing on is greening up the grid with renewable energy, decentralizing that grid as well and make it a little more efficient and that, as sort of an alternative to nuclear power which I personally think is a dead end option,” said the 27-year-old while citing issues Japan is facing with nuclear power.
Brazier is the Green Party candidate for the upcoming federal election.
While he is born and raised in the area, Brazier is new to the political scene.
He only joined the Green Party about three weeks ago after attending a meeting about nuclear power.
