Emergency room closure in Porcupine Plain
Mar 28, 2011 | 12:27 PM
People in the Porcupine Plain area are facing a health care disruption this week.
The Porcupine Carragana Hospital’s emergency and outpatient department will be closed Wednesday from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Kelsey Trail Health Region says the service disruption is due to a lack of physician coverage.
People who require care for life-threatening emergencies are asked to call 9-1-1 or go to either the Kelvington or Tisdale hospitals.
