Props from Corner Gas are out of storage and into private collections right across the country after pieces of the popular show went up for sale this weekend in Regina.
Producer Virginia Thompson says nearly everything is now gone.
“The gophers from the episode ‘Gopher,' which included a cameo from Stephen Harper, fetched the highest price,” she explained. A couple of the statues fetched $1,000 dollars each. Other popular and pricey items included Officer Davis's complete uniform, which fetched $475, and mayor Fitzy's nameplate. That brought in $400.
Thompson has yet to tally it all up but she believes the auction alone raised $15,000 for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
