Golden Band releases update

Mar 3, 2011 | 1:04 PM

Gold Band Resources has reached planned targets for the Jolu Gold Mill Operation, said a press release today.

An increase in production during the month of February means the company expects to meet their annual gold production goal of 45,000 ounces from the mine north of La Ronge.

The issues that caused delays in the extraction of gold in processing the 16,500 tonnes of ore from the Roy Lloyd mine in January and February have largely been resolved.

“With the price of gold at or near record levels, it is an exciting time for the Company,” said Ronald Netolitzky, executive chairman of Golden Band.
