Man dies in collision near Weyburn

An elderly man is dead after an accident Wednesday morning just east of Weyburn.

RCMP say an oil field service truck was turning into the community of Griffin on Highway 13 when it was struck by another vehicle.

The 81-year-old man driving the second vehicle was taken to Weyburn Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The 55-year-old male driver of the oil field truck suffered minor injuries.

The victim's name hasn't been released.
