K9 Unit donates to SPCA

Representatives of the Canine Unit of the Prince Albert Police Service and the as well as the Canine Unit with the Ministry of Environment presented a check of $9,000 to Debbie Lehner from the SPCA. The donation comes from profits made at the Canadian Police Dog trials back in September.
Lehner called this a major donation as it comes on top of the almost $4,000 given by people donating at the door. The SPCA is currently working on a bigger facility to house the increasingly needed service.
