Serious assault in Saskatoon believed to be gang related

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating what looks like a vicious stabbing in Saskatoon.
Police were called to St. Paul's Hospital at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday where they found a 23-year-old man suffering from life threatening injuries.
He was rushed into surgery and his condition was stabilized.
Police traced the victim's path from the hospital, two blocks west to the 300-block of Avenue T South, just off of 20th Street.
