BHP Biliton looking at Jansen mine

Potash Corp has always stated BHP Billiton's announced desire to develop the Jansen project as a potash mine, was nothing more than a ruse to drop the price of Potash Corp stock.
But BHP is showing them otherwise.
It has signed a contract, which will see it spend $400 million over the next five years to develop two mine shafts at Jansen Lake. The Australian company has contracted the work out to Quadra FNX, a Canadian mining construction company based in Vancouver and Toronto.
This does not mean BHP is fully committed to the mine. The company is expected to make its final decision next year
