Dec 2, 2010 | 2:25 PM

G.A.N.G. – Group Alternative to Native Gangs is a program we offer.

Our program is now in full swing and we are looking to expand on some of the programming and would like to hear from youth ages 15-25 about what they would like to gain from this programming.

Smokey Campbell, Shauna Sayese and Jonathon Bird will be afailable for you to make suggestions from 5-9 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

We also have a program for youth ages 10-14 from 4-6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. This group plays foor hockey, volleyball and partakes in crafts and other activities.

We have an Anime Group that will continue on to learn and understand the concept of the Japanese Art called Anime.

We are again starting guitar lessons and looking at January to begin these. If you are interested in learning or coming to jam, please call the Program Coordinator – Smokey Campbell to get registered.

We will be hosting numerous guest speakers throughout the next few months to talk about gang activity in our community, the impact it has on our youth, and how we can best work with these young people to show them the power of one … themselves.
