The 28th Annual Barveenok Ukrainian Dance Festival is April 17.

This is the 28th year the Barveenok Ukrainian Dance Club has hosted this event in Prince Albert.

This annual festival draws hundreds of dancers, instructors and family members to the city from across Western Canada. The festival is also a draw for local residents who enjoy the cultural entertainment and, of course, the traditional food. The festival features a variety of Ukrainian foods including borscht, perogies and cabbage rolls and is always a tasty treat for dancers and spectators.
