Geneviève Toupin annonce la sortie d’un premier album sous le nom de projet Willows, alter ego et maintenant nom de scène.

Willows est née du désir de sa créatrice de se rapprocher de ses racines franco-manitobaines, anglophones et Métis.

Depuis la sortie de son premier album en 2009, Geneviève apporte un vent de fraîcheur musicale qui a fait voyager ses chansons au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe, remportant plusieurs prix, dont le Western Canadian Music Award pour l’album francophone de l’année.

Geneviève Toupin announces the release of a debut album under the name of project Willows, alter ego and now stage name. Willows was born from the desire of its creator closer Franco-Manitoban, English-speaking and Métis roots. Since the release of his first album in 2009, Genevieve brings a breath of musical freshness which made traveling his songs in the Canada, the United States and Europe, winning several awards, including the Western Canadian Music Award for francophone album of the year.
