A sale of all the remaining contents of the now-defunct Blessed Marie Rivier Catholic School off 15th St. W. in Prince Albert gets underway today.

Sister Lise Paquette with the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary said if it was in the school, it's now on sale.

"Student desks, teachers’ desks and school items are for sale,” she told paNOW. “There are items that were in our home economics room, sewing lab, cooking lab, our library and items to store these things like shelving.”

Paquette said everything is up for grabs, including chemistry lab and art supplies. Purchases can be made with cash only, she said. Debit and credit cards are not accepted.

“People will be given a form when they walk into the school. You can look at the prices of items and buy in bulk or the single item you're interested in,” she said.

The sale is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. Thursday and runs until Saturday afternoon.
