Nov 16, 2017 | 4:10 PM

For the first time this year, Prince Albert Raiders sophomore forward Cole Fonstad was recognized in the NHL Central Scouting’s list.

Fonstad was included in the November ‘Players to Watch List’ put out by the scouting service, after being left out of the October placements. Fonstad was named as a ‘C’ Prospect, meaning he’s projected to go in rounds 4-6.

Fonstad has primarily played on the Raiders’ top line alongside 20-year-old Jordy Stallard and 18-year-old Parker Kelly. Fonstad leads the Raiders in assists with 19 and is second in team points with 26 points in 20 games.

The Raiders play the Tri-City Americans on Friday and the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday to wrap up their American division road trip. They will return to the Art Hauser Centre on Nov. 24 to take on the Swift Current Broncos.
