P.A.’s Schneider named captain at World Under-17 Challenge

Prince Albert’s Braden Schneider can now say he’s been a captain of Team Canada.

Schneider was awarded the captain’s ‘C’ for Team Canada White at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge on Sunday.

Schneider, along with fellow former Prince Albert Minto Logan Barlage, were shutout by Canada Black 1-0 in the first preliminary tournament game on Sunday in Dawson Creek, B.C.

Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Rhett Rhinehart is on Team Canada Red, who fell to Finland 4-2 in Fort St. John, B.C.
