Farmers finish just in time

Oct 25, 2010 | 6:42 AM

Prince Albert and surrounding areas are expected to see snow Monday night.
The timing is almost too close for comfort for farmers.
Ag specialist, Kevin Hursh, said most producers are either done or close to being done this year's harvest.
The province has certainly had its challenges.
Especially in the northeast where huge amounts of acreage went unseeded this year.
Hursh said canola, on average, is pretty good, but other crops, such as canary seed and field peas, have not fared as well.
