Raiders hold on to Gunville for another two years

After the draft they just had, the Prince Albert Raiders are making sure they’re holding on to their head scout.
The Raiders renewed the contract of director of player personnel Ron Gunville for two more years, until the end of the 2018-19 season.
Gunville joined the Raiders as the assistant director of player personnel in 2013, before his promotion to head scout in 2015.
“I’m excited about the direction the team is heading and wanted to remain a part of Raider organization,” Gunville said in a Raiders’ statement. “I want to thank Curtis Hunt and the Raiders Board of Directions for having confidence in me as we head towards a bright Raider future. I would also like to thank all of my scouts across western Canada and the western United States for the countless hours in the rinks and the time away from their families.”
