Parkland Ambulance responds to weekend accidents

Parkland Ambulance paramedics responded to several crashes over the weekend, including one incident which saw five people transported to hospital.

Lyle Karasiuk, spokesperson for Parkland Ambulance, said paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision on the highway near the community of Holbein shortly after 6 p.m. Friday evening. Karasiuk said paramedics cared for five adults, three male and two female, who were all taken to hospital in stable condition for further treatment.

Paramedics also attended the scenes of two collisions in the city yesterday afternoon. The first, located at 28th St. and 2nd Ave W., saw four people were treated for minor injuries and transported to hospital. No injuries were reported after the second accident, which occurred at 6th Ave W. and 22nd St.
