Mintos crushing the competition, 9 straight wins

The Prince Albert Mintos extended their winning streak to nine on Wednesday with an emphatic 8-2 victory over the Saskatoon Blazers on the road.

The Mintos have won every game they’ve played in February. Their last lost came on Jan. 24, a 5-4 defeat to the Beardy’s Blackhawks.

Mintos defenceman Braden Schneider had a massive two-goal, four-point night. Kyrell Sopotyk had a pair of goals.

The Mintos will wrap up their regular season on Saturday with a home contest against the Yorkton Maulers.
