Five charged after warrant search

Prince Albert’s Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) charged five people after finding methamphetamine and stolen property during a warrant search last week.

ISET officers executed the warrant on a home in the 1100 block of 15th St. W. early in the evening of Dec. 1. Inside, police found 14.3 g of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia and stolen property including a television and power tools.

Chelsea J. Anderson, 30, was charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and breaching a court order. Kevin Ackegan, 37, was charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime. Dion Michel, 37, and Frank Ballantyne, 35, were charged with several breaches of court orders. All four made their first appearances at P.A. Provincial Court Friday.

A 29-year-old male was also arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. His first court appearance was scheduled for Dec. 15.
