Pipeline removal progressing

Sep 21, 2016 | 5:00 PM

The City of Prince Albert is moving closer and closer to status quo.

As of Monday, the city is pulling water from the North Saskatchewan River.

Meanwhile, the clean-up process continues.

A third of the hose coming from the South Saskatchewan River into the city, is rolled up on the Highway 302 portion south of the river.  All the pumps were removed and crews are in the process of removing the jersey barriers from the road.

Within the next few days and into the weekend, crews will be working on the northern portion of Highway 302 leading into the city.
